10am Heated Flow
In this vinyasa class you’ll flow through a sequence of poses, while using your breath as your guide. The movement of your body will increase physical strength, stamina, and flexibility. The synchronization of your breath to your movement will relax and calm the mind leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
All levels are welcome, while a basic understanding of the poses is encouraged.
The room is heated to 80-85 degrees.
Yin Yoga poses are held for 3 -5 minutes at a time, designed to target your deeper connective tissues, restoring flexibility and range of motion. We'll use props so your body can release into the posture instead of actively flexing or engaging the muscles. This slower, deeper practice is a great complement to more active forms of exercise such as running, weight-training, and hot yoga. Those who need to stretch and unwind will enjoy Yin Yoga.
All levels of practice are welcome.
A thoroughly balanced practice consisting of movement and breath to engage the (Yang) muscular body, combined with poses targeting the denser, connective (Yin) tissues with longer, slower, deeper holds. The practice will restore and maintain the natural mobility of the joints, energetically open the body’s meridian system to enhance the flow of Qi, and support emotional equilibrium.
This blended class of Flow and Stillness is suitable for all levels.
